Both lids are decorated with painted enamel patterns over repousse background: an image of a destroyer in ornately shaped frame with flowers is on one lid, and composition of fancy flowers on curved stems is on the other one. Bands with geometric ornament comprised of filigree rings with white enamel border the the lids’ edges. Silver button is on the snap shutter button. The engraved inscription is on the internal side of one of the lids: "In dankbarer Erinnerung / von H. Nebenzahl / Weihn. 1930". The enamels colour range is based on the combination of white, navy-blue, red, yellow colours and their tints.
