The surface of the cigarette case is decorated with the pattern imitating hammer work- SEPTEMBER // 1875 - 1885". The cigarette-holding strips are decorated with a cut presentation inscription reading "17th September. 1875-1885”. The lock buttons are ornated with sapphire and rose-cut diamond in smooth bezel settings.
