Standing full-length on octagonal molded bases are the figures of knights – King Arthur and King Theodoric – depicted with moustaches, wearing elaborately decorated plate armor and helmets with raised visors. King Arthur is presented with a sheathed sword hanging from his belt, leaning on a shield resting on the ground, which is divided into four sections and filled with images of dragons and fleurs-de-lis. King Theodoric is depicted with a spear. His shield features a relief image of a bearded man wearing a crown. The base and the figure are made of partially gilded white metal; the head (face) is made of ivory.
