    Hallmarks on reverse of brooch: unidentified maker – “АВ”; triple hallmark of Saint Petersburg District Assay Office of 1908–1917 – female head in kokoshnik turned to right with silver fineness number “84” and district code as Greek letter “alpha”; validation mark of Saint Petersburg District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – female head in kokoshnik turned to right with dot under chin, enclosed in circle. On inner surface of lid: validation mark of Saint Petersburg District Assay Office of 1908–1917 for details – female head in kokoshnik turned to right with dot under chin, enclosed in circle.

    Silver brooch-pendant in the shape of heraldic shield surmounted by imperial crown, consisting of two hinged wings, featuring suspension ring. Front side is decorated with relief composition consisting of oak wreath entwined with ribbons, with centrally located convex openwork depiction of coat of arms of the Russian Empire — double-headed eagle under crown with scepter and orb. Inside, within gilded circular frame, is miniature black-and-white photograph of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. Above it is stamped relief image of hanging garlands forming canopy, with monograms “HII” under imperial crown (Emperor Nicholas II) and “A” under imperial crown (Empress Alexandra Feodorovna), flanked by dates “1894” and “1914” placed in line. Pin and hook are fitted on reverse side.
