Inkstand is comprised of rectangular casket for writing materials with hinged lid with drawback lock and inkpot. The casket body is in the shape of square package (bale), tied with ropes, made of wood and “set” in patinated bronze. Its hinged lid is crowned with the sculptural image of Husky dog barking at a Great Dane sitting next to the bale. Great Dane figurine is the inkpot body; its head is a hinged lid.
