Spherical crystal decanter made of colourless crystal and decorated with intricate geometric faceting, featuring a multi-rayed carved starburst rosette on the bottom. The item features silver mounts with interior gilding, including a collar with a pouring spout, a hinged lid equipped with a scroll-shaped thumbpiece (stop), and a handle curved at the right angle. The lower section of the smooth, ring-shaped neck mount is decorated with the raised fluted band of closely set ridges. A similar decorative band consisting of a row of longitudinal ridges accentuates the silver handle of the decanter.
