Transparent colorless glass; blowing, rolling up, engraving, grinding
Height 27.5 cm, diameter 10.5 cm
Goblet from colorless transparent glass (the so-called "potassic crystal") with a cone-shaped body, on faceted leg-baluster with a disc at the bottom and faceted "pad" between two discs in the upper part, on round base, with detachable lid with the grip. The body surface is decorated with engraved matte pattern in the form of stylized foliage ornament with "Rankendecora" elements, palmettas and heavy baroque lambrequins. Images of two-headed eagle beneath the Russian Imperial crown and half-face male portrait with the Baroque style long wig with laurel wreath on the head comprise the composition. The body lower part is decorated with an arch-shaped grinding. The goblet leg, made in the rolling up the whole mass of glass technique, is ornamented with grinded oval facets and lozenges. The lid and grip surface are grinded as well; the foliage ornament is grinded along the lid edge.
