A vase (jardinière) designed in the form of two open and crossed fans with molded pleating. The base of the composition is formed by crossed bamboo sticks (handles), tied with a textile ribbon and bow, serving as a structural support stand. On the front, the leaf of the left fan is decorated with a narrative composition against a cream background, depicting a figure in traditional costume and a hat, holding an umbrella and surrounded by blossoming branches. The leaf of the right fan is decorated with a picturesque bouquet of garden and wild flowers with green leaves. The reverse side of the piece features a man in Oriental attire and a hat, standing amidst stylized reeds and pink flowers, holding Chinese lanterns. On this side, the right fan is further adorned with large flower buds and wild grasses.
