Lamp-shaped vase in the Mamluk style is made of smoky glass, featuring rounded body, flared neck, and conical foot. Six glass loops (lugs) made of transparent greenish glass are symmetrically positioned on the body. Decorative bands with large decorative inscriptions in Arabic, executed in an elegant Thuluth script, run along the neck and base of the lamp. The surface of the lamp is decorated with gold pattern of intertwining scrolls and shoots (arabesques) and small buds and flowers (stylized lotuses) executed in white, red, green, and blue enamel.
