Loops (lugs) made of transparent greenish glass are symmetrically located on the body. Decorative band with large Arabic inscriptions (executed in the Thuluth script) run along the neck and base of the lamp. The body and foot surface is densely covered with filigree gilded motif of Arabic ornament, incorporating stylized flowers (red, white, and blue buds resembling lotuses).
