Having become rich, many Russian billionaires began to collect items of art. Vagit Alekperov was fascinated with coins, Piotr Aven – with the Russian art, and David Iakobachvili – with mechanic musical instruments. Over the time, the collections expanded and they were exposed in Russian and foreign museums, as well as in the museums founded by the billionaires. One more museum - the Museum of the Russian impressionism of Boris Mintz will be opened in May. The collection of the billionaire Boris Mintz will be allocated there. The museum was built by the businessman in the territory of the cultural and business center Bolshevik complex. More than 70 works of art of Russian impressionists will be exposed there.
