Organ concert “Cinema Magic” in the museum Collection (video)
We invite you to watch a recording of the organ concert “Cinema Magic,” organized in collaboration with the Belcanto Charitable Foundation, which took place at the museum on January 22, 2026.
The concert featured international competition winners Tatiana Lanskaya (soprano), Ksenia Sviridenko (organ), and Mikhail Prutkov (marimba, vibraphone).
The program showcased iconic film-related pieces by J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, C. Debussy, L. van Beethoven, A. Badalamenti, W. Kilar, Ē. Ešenvalds, K. Orff, L. Einaudi, M. Tariverdiev, T. Tykwer, H. Zimmer, and E. Morricone.
Cinematic scores were reimagined through the majestic sound of the museum Collection historic organs.
In the first part, it was the Aeolian Pipe Organ, created in 1913, by English artisans from The Orchestrelle Company; in the second one – it was the Welte Reproducing Pipe Organ, created in the USA by artisans from W.W. Kimball Co. in 1926-1930.
