The exposition features the works from the museum Collection repository and works of the Stroganov Russian State University of Arts and Crafts students, as well as items created by the Art Metal Department teachers. These are sculptural works, jewellery, installations and other artistic forms created by artisans and craftsmen that had chosen metal as the main material for implementing their creative ideas. The exhibition "From the Past to the Future" offers viewers a unique experience of immersion in an artistic journey through the years. The exhibits from the museum Collection repository presented at the exhibition are classical Russian enamels made by pupils of the Imperial Stroganov School in the late 19^th - early 20^th centuries. Being in a single space with the works of contemporary young artists, all exhibited works demonstrate the continuity and relevance of the "Stroganov" tradition of craftsmanship. The layout and design of this chamber exhibition that is built in the same logic, blurs the boundaries between the past and the future and offers viewers interesting ideas and new impressions.
