The work of the thematic exhibition “Vyacheslav Zaitsev. Red Dior", which presents costumes from the iconic collections of the Russian couturier, his paintings and graphic works, the author's art objects and the book "Providence" limited edition.

Museum visitors have a unique opportunity to see complete ensembles (costumes, accessories and hats) from the collection Millennium of Christianization of Rus, which is one of the key ones in the extensive list of Slava Zaitsev achievements. In this collection, which conquered the entire world, images of medieval Russia and expressive silhouettes of the twenties were intertwined. The hats, inspired by ancient Russian helmets, quickly gained popularity and influenced the everyday urban fashion of the late 1980s. The second collection presented at this exhibition is called "Origins". These are designer costumes made from Pavlovsky Posad shawls with primordial Russian ornaments, which, thanks to Vyacheslav Mikhailovich, have become authentic trends abroad and have been overwhelmingly successful for several decades.

On June 8, presentation of the book "Providence" with poems, paintings, sketches and graphics by Vyacheslav Zaitsev, organized by the International Academy KEUNE DESIGN, took place at museum Collection site. We present you a video clip about this event.
