Today on the customary lecture day in our museum, we present the recording of the online lecture-webinar "Film score to accompany the National motion pictures”. You will be acquainted with the history of the National cinematograph, learn about the participation of several domestic movies in the first Venice Film Festivals (in 1932 and 1934), about the establishment of the first National Film Festival in 1935, the development of movie production during the Great Patriotic War and about the period of its reduced volume, as well as about the so called "shelf" cinema.

The story is accompanied by the music digitized from the musical media stored in the Sound Library of the museum Collection.
