The exhibition “White Angel” in the State Museum of Russian Modern History.
The exhibition “White Angel” devoted to the 150th anniversary since the birth of the Elizabeth Feodorovna, the Grand Duchess, the spouse of Nicholas II, originally known Elisabeth Alexandra Luise Alice von Hessen-Darmstadt und bei Rhein, was opened in the State Museum of Russian Modern History on March 6. Items from the museum Collection were exhibited there along with the belongings of the Grand Duchess - a portrait of the Grand Duke Sergey Aleksandrovich Romanov, future husband of Elizabeth Feodorovna. Mihály Zichy created the portrait in 1870. Seven miniature portraits of children of the tsar Alexander II and Maria Aleksandrovna were exposed there as well.
