A musical pendant in the shape of a stylized harp, set upon a flat gold base, featuring a soundbox, a curved neck with chain and faceted ring, eleven twisted strings, and vertical pillar in the form of a column entwined with ornamented gold ribbon and a narrow band of blue champlevé enamel.
The front and side panels of the soundbox are decorated with polychrome images against blue and black enamel fields: a young girl with a guitar, engraved depictions of birds, amphorae and jugs, musical and hunting trophies, golden swags, and leafy branches. The upper sections of the side panels feature oval inserts of seed pearls. The neck features floral and foliate appliqués against blue and black enamel background. A miniature musical movement with a pinned cylinder, a musical comb, and a spring drive, activated by a small lever on the right side is mounted inside the body. An aperture with winding pin for the musical mechanism is on the front panel bottom part.
