Gilded fob is in the shape of oval case containing a miniature musical movement with massive ring soldered on top. Rod with wire suspension at the end passes through the ring, decorated with the ornament realized in the technique of champlevé enamel, which serves to wind the musical movement. Inside the ring, a bushing, decorated with wire cage in the form of a sphere, surrounded by ring with blue enamel is on the rod. The oval body side surface is decorated with regular chased ornament made up of elongated arches. Chased rhombic ornament is applied on the upper surface. The bottom side is closed with the hinged lid, which is an oval agate plate rolled into the engraved shell and serving as a seal matrix. The miniature musical movement with spring engine consists of pinned metal cylinder and sound comb comprised of six sounding steel lamellas. A flat slider on the case side activates the movement.
