Golden fob is in the form of oval case containing miniature musical movement with volumetric hollow ring is soldered on top. It serves as a handle. The case convex upper side is smooth and polished. Side surface is formed by alternating smooth and corrugated strips. The bottom side is covered with polished screw-on lid. The handle is a hollow ring soldered from two halves, decorated with floral ornament realized in the technique of colored champlevé enamel on repoussed background. A rod with a wide profile annular suspension at the end passes through the handle, serving to wind the musical movement. A bushing decorated with spherical “basket” formed of corrugated wire and surrounded by smooth rim is put on the rod inside the ring. The miniature spring-driven musical movement consists of the pinned cylinder and stack of eight hardened slats. Flat slider on the case lateral side activates the movement.
