Mark on the case: running rooster left side-drawn and number "25 "; mark: complicated figure (?); encircled number “6”. Mark on the lid inner side: crown with the monogram piece and letter "C" in lozenge
Rare gold snuffbox. Gold rectangular case with rounded vertical edges, decorated with chased and engraved patterns combined with champleve enamel. Enamel image of five-string lyre with arrows on the sides in the oval, on the surface of guilloche vertical waves and engraved oak leaves, rimmed by wide frame with foliage pattern with blue elements is on the upper lid. The engraved inscription and illegible crown-shaped mark are on the lid inner surface.
Tobacco compartment is under the lid. An activating knob on the case front side. Guilloche waves surface with engraved oak leaves, rimmed by a frame with ornament of petals, leaves and acorns with blue color elements is on the sides and bottom. A keyhole in the bottom left corner. The assay mark, Paris export mark, numbers and inscription are on right lateral side. The bottom lid covers the musical movement that is comprised of metal cylinder with thin vertical pins and 33-section sound comb with pairs of joined teeth. The key is of later origin with the grip comprised of two rings, connected by a hexagonal plate with the inscription "SWITZERLAND" and number"8". Cylindrical rod with a square cross-section at the flat end.
