Singing bird box in rectangular case in the form of a gilded silver casket. Rectangular ivory plates with cast relief onlays depicting a burning torch and a quiver with arrows, enlaced with ribbons are inserted on the lateral sides. The lower frieze is decorated with a row of Ionics along the perimeter. Four cast feet at the corners are made in the form of twisted leaves. A garland of laurel leaves forms the upper frieze. The top panel of the casket is stamped with a volumetric ornament. A narrow curb of Ionics is along the perimeter, a rectangular panel with an oval garland of laurel leaves is inside and a hinged lid is in the center. An onlayed carved ivory vase is on the lid. The flowers in the vase and metal garlands are the integral part of the lid. The lid is automatically opened when the movement is activated. A miniature bird in painted feathers appears from under it. It turns o the spot, flaps its wings, opens and locks the beak. The sound movement imitates bird’s chirping. At the end of the program, the bird is hidden under an openwork silver lattice and the lid is lowered.

A rod with a figured grip - a switch of the singing bird movement is on the right lateral side. A keyhole is on the casket bottom side. Gilded key with repousse grip in the form of a bird.
