Box with music movement in moulded case made of gilded bronze, rectangular with rounded vertical ribs and a hinged lid. The lid consists of two parts: a metal one with blue enamel field with a golden floral ornament in white enamel frame and an oval aperture, and a wooden one with a relief scene in the center: a young couple and a boy releasing a bird from the cage. A compartment for small things is under the lid. Lateral surfaces with a relief ornament. Four supports and a key for the movement spring winding with a swivel ring are on fine-grained bottom side. The music movement is activated automatically when the lid is opened. It consists of a spring motor, a program cylinder with pins and steel sound reeds.
