A three-coloured gold oval and enamel music vinaigrette, in Louis XVI style. An oval painted enamel plaque, en grisaille to imitate a cameo, with cherubs enjoying a late summer's day is inserted in the lid, the border, sides and base with panels of translucent blue enamel over scale engine-turning alternating with chased three-colour gold trophies and flowers, the interior with a double-opening lattice pierced and engraved with scrolling flowers, struck only with French eagle's head control marks.
