Gold music snuffbox, with sur-plateau movement with the disk pinned on opposing sides, 19 individually screwed radial teeth in arc to the brass bedplate, in tooled and engraved gold case, the main ground to sides, top, underside with repeated sextuplet decreasing circles, plain boss centers, joined with spiked quatrefoil bosses, the framed border with intertwined leaf swags with acorn heads and flowers on micro petit-point ground, ribbon-drop leaf and daisy-head frieze to lid edge, large open leaf corners, start/stop slide to front-right, the lid opening to reveal plain polished snuff interior, with a key, in later fitted case.
