On the pendant stem: A cock’s head hallmark. On cuvette: “Musique”, “Aiguilles”, “Montre”. Near the lever: “Musique”, “Silense”. On the inner side of the back cover: mark “LE” within a diamond, and an indistinct number: “3190”
An open-faced mechanical pocket watch in a circular case with two covers, a polished bow, and suspension ring.
A polished medallion is in the center of the engine-turned (guilloché) back cover, within a fluted frame. The bezel of the case features net-pattern fluting (knurling). Behind the spherical glass cover is a gilded ring dial with Arabic hour numerals in enamel cartouches, minute tracks on the external white enamel ring, and two blued steel hands.
The watch movement features a simple brass three-arm balance wheel, cylinder escapement, quarter repeater, and spring moter. The musical mechanism, with cylinder (pin drum), musical comb, and spring-driven barrel, activated automatically every hour.5405/ДПИ
