Gentleman's fine, heavy quarter repeating pocket watch with concealed automaton. The case is 18k gold, tiered, smooth, reeded band, dome with concealed frivolous automaton covered by a hinged lid. Dial is frosted, gilt, with chased flower decoration, enamel cartouches with Arabic numerals, pierced silver center, blued Breguet hands. Full plate movement, key wind, frosted, gilt, blued screws, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued balance spring, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge, large silver regulator disc.
