This longcase clock is housed in a vertical case resting on a plinth with concave sides and tall, carved cylindrical feet. The case is finished with walnut veneer and polished. The front surface of the plinth is decorated with a carved medallion depicting the profile of a warrior in a helmet, ribbons, and a garland of leaves. The pendulum clock movement features an anchor escapement, a Dutch hour and half-hour strike using two hammers on two bells, musical movement with a carillon of fifteen bells and twenty-nine hammers, pinned cylinder for twelve melodies, and an automaton that activates once an hour. The musical movement triggers at the hour and half-hour, playing different melodies each time. The set includes a crank handle for winding the weights.
