    Musical clock in dark brown wooden case, with an arched cornice, gilded decorative elements in the form of cast figures, on a profiled base and four metal supports shaped like golden leaves. The dome at the top has a complex shape with rectangular platform. Arched glazed panels are on the sides. Gilded brass dial field with cast relief overlays in the corners and engraved ornaments around small indicators is on the front side, behind the arched glazed door with a lock. The ring-shaped silvered clock face indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals every five divisions, with two openwork hands made of blued steel.  A curved window for the pendulum movement indicator, three holes with pins for winding the mechanism, striking the hour, and the quarter chime, as well as a rectangular calendar window are in the chased central part of the dial. Three silvered ring scales with hands are in th arch above the dial: the striking and chime mode scale is on the right, the scale with the names of twelve months along with the number of days in each month and zodiac signs in the center, and a regulation scale for the clock's movement with the numbers 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and inscriptions “Späther”, “Fruher”. A glazed door with a lock and ornately shaped overlay are on the rear side. The clock mechanism is pendulum-driven, with a weekly wind-up, verge escapemnt, three spring motors, fuzees, and a quarter chime on a carillon comprised of four bells with a pinned metal cylinder, and a striking mechanism for the hours on the bell. An engraved ornament depicting a standing lion, leaves, and scrolls, along with the master's signature “Johan Kaltenbrunner / Prag / N 1” is on the rear plate. The winding for the mechanism, hour striking, and carillon is done with a key.
