Musical clock in gilded brass case in the form of a frame with rounded ribs, with polished metal base and top panel with protruding rim and fasteners. The front and lateral sides are made of plexiglass, Lucite, with blue mirror finish; the rear side is made of saltine finished brass. The dial with the image of anchor for three, six, nine and twelve hours, the rest hours are denoted with waves; two Breguet designed hands of goldish color, alarm clock hand and inscriptions: "JAEGER", "8", "SWISS" is on the clock shield. The engraved image of three-mast sailing ship flying through the waves is below the dial. Knobs with knurling for setting the clock and alarm clock hands, keys for winding the clock and the musical movement of the alarm clock with the corresponding inscriptions and hands, indicating the direction of rotation and sector window of the clock escapement control are on the rear side. The clock movement is with the eight-day winding period, monometallic balance, with attached lever escapement, musical alarm movement, two spring motors.

refract and admit light. In the 1950s and 1960s, Lucite was extremely popular
material for jewelry, and several companies specialized in creating high
quality items from this material.
