Louis XV style mantel clock is mounted on ornately shaped cast bronze figure of elephant standing on cast embossed stand with supports in the form of goldish color acanthus leaves. Clock in cylindrical case, decorated with a putti figurine leaning on a shell and cast flower garlands. The lid with convex glass and gilded bezel closes the front side of the clock escapement. Cast embossed dial with white enamel inserts with Roman numerals for hours’ designation, with two ornately shaped black hands, two rods for winding the clock escapement and strike. The clock mechanism with spring motor, pendulum, eight-day period winding, hour and half an hour strike upon one gong. The winding key with cast ornately shaped crown and rod with square-cut aperture.
