Mechanical harmonium in piano shaped wooden case is trimmed with walnut veneer and decorated with thin double lines from light walnut and birch veneer, with foliage marquetry ornaments in the lower part center, with keyboard consisting of forty-nine piano-keys, which is closed by pullout lid, decorated with marquetry foliage pattern. A panel, key stop rail, painted black with the images of medals received at international exhibitions and with golden color, inscriptions are above the keyboard. The inscription “I.P. Nyström” is on the left side, ‘Reform-Orgel Patent” – is in the center, “Karlstad” is on the right side. Framed text “Jnnehar sjutton (17) Patenter å egna Uppfinningar inom orgelbranchen” (17 patents for original inventions in the organ industry) is beneath the central inscription. A stepped panel closes the key bottom support façade that is beneath the keyboard. Wooden pull out button is in its upper part, winding hole is in the center, three pull out register switchers – “piano, forte, echo” are in the bottom part. Three hinged wings that control the separate registers and are in charge of volume and tone of the playing tune in the lower part under the key bottom support.
Two swivel stands covered with blue fabric are above the keyboard, on both sides, two brass candlesticks decorated with mother-of-pearl inserts are standing on them. Two wooden chiselled racks, painted black with metal bar attached to them for holding music stand for notes are on the case top lid. The music stand panel is framed with black bars with clamping plates for notes and is decorated with marquetry with the image of an angel with a triangle and a wand in his hands; a bird and a scroll, surrounded by floral ornament. The facade is decorated with marquetry foliage patterns on both sides of the music stand. The image of a Syrinx comprised of eight tubes, reed pipe and amphora is to the left. A bow, a quiver with arrows, music manuscript and a mandolin are to the right.
The case top of the case is decorated with ornately shaped attic with chiselled elements trimmed with black glossy varnish and decorated with marquetry on the front side.
A cardboard disc drive with clamping bar and a key frame of twenty-four reading levers are on the right lateral side. The harmonium movement is driven by two pedals covered with brown leather with metal plates at the bottom. Pneumatic harmonium system works when alternate pressing of the pedals pumps air. The instrument can be used both in manual and in automatic execution modes. In the second case, it is necessary to install a cardboard disc and rotate the crank drive.Инв.101/ММП
