Phonograph is housed in mahogany case featuring hinged top lid and front side enclosed by openwork wooden grille. Case is mounted on high legs, square in cross-section, with three stretchers. Shelf is fixed below between the legs. Winding crank hole is located on the right side of the case.
The phonograph plays recordings made on four-minute Blue Amberol cylinders. Metal nameplate featuring the model name of the phonograph and patent numbers is fixed on the inner back wall of the case. Portrait of Edison, along with model and manufacturer names within an artistic vignette, are executed in decalcomania technique on the inner side of the lid.
