    Musical automaton in the form of a girl’s figure with mandolin is mounted on rectangular stand with a plate covered with yellow-green velvet. The mandolin soundboard with painting, a bow is on the fretboard. Girl’s head is from bisque with brown glass eyes, ruddy cheeks, chestnut curly hair. She is dressed in a blouse with corrugated white bodice, band-collar, sleeves with white cuffs and black braid, a fluffy skirt with beige silk ruffles and black lace, red vest with lace and braid trim, with golden buttons; black velvet bolero, decorated with braid, embroidery and beads. Necklace is on her neck. Bordeaux colored shawl with fringe and flowers is on her waist. The underskirt is white; a multi-layered skirt made of light fabric of red and yellow colors is underneath, pantaloons are decorated with Richelieu embroidery. White stockings with seam of golden braid, bordeaux satin shoes with bows are on her feet.
    Control mechanism and musical movement with cylinder for two tunes, sound comb and spring drive are fitted in the trunk, with the winding key and on/off button on the girl's waist. When the mechanism is turned on, the tune sounds, the girl is moving her right hand as if playing the mandolin, she lowers and raises her head, turns it to the right and to the left.
