Figure of a lace-maker in long satin dress sits on metal bentwood chair. Pale pink smooth dress with a band-collar, cuffs and hem trimmed with guipure. Linen underskirt is decorated with Richelieu embroidery, light green satin shawl with fringe on her shoulders. Long, natural chestnut hair covered with a high lace hennin is on the head. Brushes and head are of bisque porcelain, brown glass eyes close and open, the mouth half-open. Black stockings and black leather shoes are on her feet. Black leather pillow and bobbins with threads lie on her knees. Lace ribbon is hanging down.
A keyhole is hidden in the dress under the right hand. A rod with the start/stop button protrudes on the back. Musical movement with cylinder and sound comb plays one tune. When the movement is activated, music plays, and the figure comes into motion. The head bends, rises, the eyes close and open, the hands make compound movements over the bobbins.
    Authentic removable winding key.
