While the melody sounds, the pastry chef appears from the automaton body, made in the form of a brioche. He turns his head from side to side, he holds a small bun in his right hand, brings it to his mouth, as if biting off a piece, and then hides inside the brioche.
Keyhole and start button are on the left side. The movement with spring motor, musical comb and pinned barrel is mounted in the "pie" bottom.
