Rectangular wooden box, with lock and two hinged lids: upper and intrenal - with glass. The body and lid of the box are mahogany.  Paper label with the list of tunes is on the top lid  inner side.

Musical movement consists of a cylinder and a sound comb for 90 tunes. The box left side is hinged. It opens an access to three brass switches (start / stop / reset). An aperture for the clockwork key is there as well. The deepening for the key storage is on the right-hand side.
