The musical automaton is mounted in a vertical rectangular wooden case finished with precious wood species. The case stands on low turned feet. The facade is a door with an arched glazed window framed by a profile molding. A thin golden plant pattern and the name of the automaton are applied to the glass. Fluted pilasters with shaped overlays and carved bases are located on the sides of the window. Above the arch are two triangular acoustic windows covered with openwork wooden grilles. A stepped balustrade with a shaped semicircular finial and turned decorative elements is installed on a carved ribbed cornice. On the right side of the case, there is a cast metal overlay near the hole for the winding handle, a cast overlay with a slot for a coin, a rectangular plate with a warning inscription in German and an overlay on the keyhole. A spring-driven motor, started by a falling coin and enclosed in a glazed housing, is installed on the lower inner wall. A musical movement on a cast base, with two pairs of musical combs, an axle and guide rollers for a program disc, a pressure bar and a drive sprocket, is attached to the back wall. The entire case of the apparatus serves as an acoustic resonator. A pull-out drawer for coins is located under the lower wall. The musical automaton is installed on a wooden pedestal with a profile cornice and a plinth. The front side is a hinged paneled door with a cast pull handle, a mortise lock, limiters and shaped pilasters on the sides. A flat box with partitions for storing interchangeable program discs is attached to the inner side of the door. After winding the motor and dropping a coin, the program disc, mounted on the axle and fixed by the pressure bar, begins to rotate. Pins on the back of the disc cause the teeth of the musical comb to sound in a specific order. The set includes a winding handle and ten interchangeable program discs.Program carrier – metal discs with a diameter of 65.5 cm.
On the front glass, the overlay on the finial and the cast base: “FORTUNA”, on the metal plate: “Versuche, den Automaten anders als durch Einwurf eines 5 Pfennig Stückes zum Spielen zu bringen, werden strafrechtlich verfolgt”
