Rectangular wooden nutwood veneered box with a hinged lid, on four semi-circular fet, with a keyhole. The lid external surface is framed by rosewood veneer vein. The inscription "Symphonion" from rosewood veneer in the marquetry technique is in the center. The image of playing and singing angels is on the lid inner surface. Musical movement consists of a sound comb for 49 tunes and a metallophone with eight plates. The movement is winded by a lever that is in the slot on the case front side, and activated by the other lever that is fixed on the left lateral side.
