“Nude” is distinguished by elongated proportions and a flowing silhouette. Soft modelling emphasizes the natural lines of the body, while the absence of fine detail gives the figure a sense of unity. Patination softens the sheen of the bronze and reveals subtle transitions between volumes. This restrained stylization is characteristic of decorative sculpture of the first decades of the 20th century, when the classical nude was reinterpreted in interior sculpture.
