The full-length nude female figure is mounted on a four-sided pyramidal pedestal of polished veined marble, captured in a dynamic pose of stretching after sleep. The girl is depicted with her head tilted back and slightly turned to the right; her eyes are closed, and a peaceful expression is read on her face. Both arms are raised upward and widely spread to the sides, with fingers slightly clenched. The sculpture is executed in patinated bronze with gilding.
