The figure of a dancer is mounted on a stepped, three-tiered pedestal of light beige marble, executed in patinated and gilded bronze, dressed in a stage costume and headpiece. The girl is captured standing on the toe of her left foot; her right leg is raised high and extended forward parallel to the plane of the base, and her arms are spread out to the sides. The body of the figure is slightly curved, with her head tilted toward her left shoulder.
