A chest-length portrait of a young Sudanese man with distinctive features, including small narrow eyes, a prominent nose, and full lips, along with moustache and short beard. He is depicted in traditional attire, consisting of a headscarf, shirt, and cloak. The bust, mounted on a turned socle, is set on a columnar pedestal made of two types of marble. The head is cast in silvered bronze, while the clothing and the socle are finished with patina and accented with gilding.
