Silver egg with the hinged upper part is covered with translucent blue enamel over guilloche. The finial is the shape of a hatpin with the head from coral, obsidian and diamonds and detachable hat-shaped brooch made of mabe pearls, adorned by gold flowers with diamonds and aquamarines and two pear-shaped pearls on chains. The golden stem rests on round base made of transparent rock crystal and decorated with two hats of translucent agate, adorned with gold flowers with sapphires, emeralds and diamonds and a hat from hawk’s eye, adorned with white opal flowers with diamond hearts. A "surprise" in the form of detachable agate hat –shaped brooch decorated with flowers from opal, coral, turquoise, agate and amethyst with diamond hearts is inside the egg.
