Desktop seal made of nephrite with four-sided grip with bevelled corners and rectangular base, framed by a stripe of transparent red enamel over guilloche background. The Princes’ Golitsyn family coat of arms, enlisted in the first volume of "The General Armorial of the Russian Empire Noble Families" (GA, Volume I, p. 2) is on the matrix.
The seal is stored in the authentic box with the Cyrillic inscription on the lid inner surface: "ИМПЕРАТОРСКАЯ ГРАНИЛЬНАЯ ФАБРИКА ВЪ ПЕТЕРГОФЕ".
