Both mice are carved from bright, natural blue chalcedony from Malawi, the are eyes made from cabochon rubies, rimmed in gold vermeil, the tails and the leaf-shaped "oar" is of gold vermeil. They are fixed in the leaf-form boat. Both figurines are removable.
