Two finely carved hummingbirds perch atop a cactus of soft green zoisite to offset the deep rich ruby purple of the birds. One is presented in mid-air, taking a drink with its long slender gold beak from the large ruby flower on one side of the cactus. Each boasts ruby eyes and 18K gold vermeil feet, and the whole lovely piece is presented on a gleaming obsidian base.
