Saltcellar in the form of a peasant's wooden saltcellar – a chair with four legs, round chair back and lift-up lid – the seat. The sides and the seat surfaces are decorated with enamel ornament of large diamonds joined together by flower rosettes and filled with geometrical pattern bordered with a narrow frame with fine diamonds. The rear side is ornamented with stylised double-ended enamel image of cocks facing each other. Saltcellar cylinder feet are decorated with enamel. The enamel colours are turquoise, blue, white, red and green.
