Indistinct master's mark; tax farmer mark – Jean Jacques Prévos (1762–1768); annual in the form of letter ‘D’, corresponding to the years 1767–1768; mark of the tax farmer Julien Alaterre (1768–1774). Engraving on the rim: Drais a Paris
Rectangular gold snuffbox with bevelled corners and a hinged lid.The lid, walls, and base of the snuffbox are decorated with the painted miniature inserts. All miniatures are framed. The frames of the miniatures are decorated with chased foliage pattern.
The snuffbox is presented in its red cloth-covered case.
