Silver rectangular gilded inside cigarette case, with sloping sides and two compartments - the large one is for cigars, the small one on the front side is for matches; with two hinged lids and suspension ring. The cigarette case smooth surface is adorned with enamel décor in the Russian style. Painted enamel miniature depicts young Ukrainian woman in red apron dress and povoinik (headdress of a married peasant woman), with a string of beads around her neck, holding the edge of an apron with one hand and akimbo with the other, with the empty bucket on the ground. The miniature in oval medallion is on the upper cover and is framed with foliage geometric ornament made in the technique of champlevé enamel on repousse background. Geometric shaped braid against blue enamel background rims compartment for matches. Foliage-geometric ornament on blue enamel background adorns cigarette case lateral sides. White enamel medallion with vignette, framed with foliage-geometric ornament is on the bottom. An aperture for the wick is in the cigarette case rear side. The enamels color scheme is based on the combinations of turquoise, red, blue, white tints.
