Silver gilded inside cigarette case with rounded sides and corners, comprised of two equal halves, connected by a hinge, with snap shutter. The upper cover is decorated with en plein enamel miniature depicting chest-high portrait of a naked bondmaid in the eastern interior that is a fragment of the painting “Selling of a Slave” by the Italian artist Fabbio Fabbi. The miniature, located on the lid upper part is framed with rectangular embossed rim with laurel leaves and rosettes, with the hanging floral wreath. The lower cover is smooth and decor free. Silver button is in the lock shutter. |
